ARTFULLY AVOIDING THE LANDFILL (& driving my husband crazy) ONE PIECE OF JUNK AT A TIME

Fresh Air and Sweet Dispositions

Finally made it out of the house today.  I went to work and Grandpa stayed home with the boys.  All four of them.  I'm pretty proud of him, he didn't have to call me for anything except to know if I wanted to join them for lunch at McDonalds.  It's amazing what a little fresh air can do for one's disposition.

There was no mention of "squirrel shampooing" from this young man today and when I got home this evening, the kitchen was clean.  Everything was neat and orderly, including all the little male egoes.  Caine even came out of hibernation to help with the evening meal.

Okay, so he only stirred the soup, but hey, that is a huge improvement over having to holler for him 17 times to join us for dinner.  It was just one of those perfect days.  To top it off, I found this adorable little towel at Wal-Mart to further adorn the masterpiece of a laundry room we are creating.

Most definitely, it was one of those days you don't want to see come to an end because everything just fell into place and everyone was content.

Until bed time, that is.  Grandpa got an "F" in tucking the boys into bed tonight.  I was working on today's blog when what did I hear whispered behind me?  "Grandma, what are you doing? " I turned around and there was Monkey See and Monkey Do with my camera...

"Shouldn't you be in bed?" said I.  "And where's Grandpa?"
"We don't know" was the whispered reply.

 Life is good : )
